The Challenge
In Senegal and West Africa, medication adherence remains a major public health issue. Patients forget to take their medications, miss medical appointments, and lack a tool adapted to their daily lives for managing their health.
The challenge: design a comprehensive, accessible mobile application that works even without an internet connection, to support patients in their daily health management.
Our Solution
We developed Z. Health, a cross-platform mobile application built with Flutter, offering a complete health management ecosystem:
- Personalized dashboard with real-time adherence statistics and rotating AI-powered health tips
- Medication management with period-based reminders (morning/noon/evening), sound alarms, and intake tracking
- Medical appointments with interactive calendar, configurable reminders, and complete history
- On-duty pharmacies with geolocation, OpenStreetMap integration, and filters (open, on-duty, delivery)
- Adherence analytics with trend charts, pattern detection, and personalized recommendations
- Medical profile with emergency QR code, health data, and emergency contacts
- Offline mode with 7-day cache and automatic synchronization when back online

- Authentication: Phone OTP (SMS via Twilio) and email/password via Supabase Auth

Note: Z. Health is currently in closed beta (internal testing). The application is not yet publicly available.
