Wëg is an urban transport application designed for the Côte d'Ivoire market, developed for WEG Taxi. The platform connects passengers with verified drivers with a strong philosophy: "Trust first."
The app stands out with its proudly African approach — designed by Africans, for Africans — and its commitment to safety and pricing transparency.
Our Role
As Full-Stack Lead, we designed and developed the complete technical ecosystem:
- Passenger app in Flutter: booking in 30 seconds, real-time GPS tracking, transparent upfront pricing
- Driver app in Flutter: ride management, navigation, earnings system
- Microservices backend in NestJS: intelligent matching, ride management, push notifications, payment system
- Verification system: identity, license, and background checks for drivers
